Xi'an University of Architecture and Technology (XAUAT) is located in the famous historical and cultural city---Xi’an. To its far south is the world-famous Big Wild Goose Pagoda built in the Tang Dynasty; adjacent to its north, is the renowned City Wall of the Ming Dynasty.    

XAUAT inherits and promotes the professional advantage and expertise accumulated more than a hundred years. Over half a century of development, its disciplines--- Architecture, Civil Engineering, and Environmental and Municipal Engineering are endowed with distinctive characteristics; science and polytechnic disciplines as main bodies as well as incorporated with disciplines such as Liberal Arts, Law, Economics, Management, Art and Education,  XAUAT enjoys reputation for its Architecture and civil engineering both home and abroad.       

At present, XAUAT has 17 schools and a department, offering 65 undergraduate programs. The university has 7 first-level and 30 second-level disciplines accredited to confer Doctoral degrees, 7 post-Doctoral centers, 9 national level specialties, and 15 provincial-level specialties. It is also authorized to confer professional Master’s degree to students majored in Higher Education, Engineering, Landscaping and Architecture, etc.
