Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (NUAA) is one of China’s premier learning and research institutions which now develops into a comprehensive university especially featured with Aerospace Engineering. Ever since it was established in 1952, we have strived to conduct world-level research and education system. More than 65 years’ history witnesses its unremitting efforts and remarkable achievements. 

Since its establishment, the university has cultivated more than 160,000 senior professional talents for the country, constantly promoted the reform of education and teaching, gradually established the innovative talent training system with the characteristics of China Southern Airlines, and achieved a number of high-level teaching achievements. It has built 5 national scientific research platforms, including the State Key Laboratory of Mechanical structure mechanics and control, and 71 scientific research platforms at the provincial level, which have contributed a number of first prizes to the Republic of China. In the field of national defense science and technology, the University has participated in the pre-research, technological breakthrough and experimental research of almost all-important aviation models in China. Many technologies have been successfully applied in the lunar exploration program and other aerospace projects, making important contributions to the development of China's aerospace industry.
