Congratulations to NHC on Becoming a Corporate Member of CEAIE

The application proposal put forward by NHC for membership of China Education Association for International Exchange (hereinafter referred to as CEAIE) has been carefully reviewed and officially adopted by the sixth meeting of the standing committee of the seventh council of CEAIE.

Since its establishment in 1981, contributed to the development of China’s international education.


CEAIE has provincial associations for international exchanges in 31 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities as well as local chapters in 16 major cities.

Its members include institutions from entire education sector in China. CEAIE has established a wide network with partner associations and institutions at home and long-term working relationship with over 170 educational organizations in more than 50 countries and regions.

CEAIE was granted the Special Consultative Status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations (ECOSOC) in 2006; and managed to established the official relations with UNESCO.

In 2008, it became an NGO partner of the United Nations Department of Public Information (DPI); in 2009, it was granted consultative status with UNESCO; In the year of 2011, it became a member of the United Nations Academic Impact Program; in 2015, it became a board member of the World Federation of Colleges and Polytechnics (WFCP) and an affiliate member of the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO).

Note: Consultative Status is a formal relationship between non-governmental organizations and the United Nations that allows NGOs to participate in the work of the UN. ECOSOC conferred Consultative Status to CEAIE in recognition to its contributions to the education development and cultural exchanges in the world.

Since its establishment, over 1,000 international students from up to 35 countries have been enrolled to the university of his/her choice with the help from NHC. Obtaining membership of CEAIE has marked an important milestone in the development of NHC, which means that our efforts we put in have been recognized by the Chinese education community. By joining CEAIE, it will help NHC establish a closer cooperative relationship with more top Chinese universities; and better facilitate international educational exchanges and cooperation.
